Product Description:
Used as a strong oxidizing agent in various industrial and laboratory applications. Commonly employed in polymerization reactions as a free radical initiator, especially in the production of polystyrene and other synthetic polymers. Widely used in etching copper in printed circuit board manufacturing due to its ability to oxidize metals. Applied in hair bleaching and cosmetic formulations for its bleaching properties. Utilized in cleaning and stripping solutions for metal surfaces. Also found in some dental products for its whitening and cleaning action. Plays a role in environmental testing for the digestion of organic matter in water samples to determine chemical oxygen demand (COD).
