Product Description:
Used in food processing as an emulsifier and stabilizer, particularly in processed cheeses to improve texture and melting properties. Acts as a buffering agent in canned fruits and vegetables to maintain pH and preserve color. Employed in meat products to enhance water retention and improve yield. Also found in cleaning formulations, including detergents and metal surface treatments, due to its ability to sequester metal ions and soften water.
