Product Description:
Used in the synthesis of fluorinated compounds due to its role as a mild fluorinating agent. Employed in electroplating processes to improve corrosion resistance and surface finish of metal parts. Acts as a catalyst or additive in organic reactions, particularly where controlled fluoride release is needed. Applied in the production of specialty glasses and ceramics requiring thermal stability and low refractive index. Also investigated for use in lithium-ion battery materials as a surface modifier to enhance electrode performance.
