Product Description:
Used as a flux in soldering and metal surface treatment to remove oxides and promote better metal joining. Commonly employed in the production of batteries, especially zinc-carbon and zinc-air types, due to its electrolytic properties. Serves as a catalyst or reagent in organic synthesis, including the Friedel-Crafts acylation and other industrial chemical reactions. Utilized in textile processing for fabric treatment and as a fireproofing agent for wood and other materials. Applied in the formulation of adhesives, paints, and pigments to enhance performance and stability. Also found in some medicinal and dental applications, such as in mouthwashes and as a component in antiseptic solutions.
