Soluble Proteoglycan (Pure Powder) is a water-soluble cosmetic active powder standardized for Proteoglycan (HSPG) content ≥75%.
Proteoglycans and heparan-sulfate proteoglycans are matrix-associated biomolecules that help organize water binding, hydration microenvironment and extracellular-matrix signaling around the skin surface. In cosmetic formulas, this type of active is useful when the target is hydrated, smoother, firmer-looking skin without relying on a heavy oil phase.
This grade is supplied as an off-white to light-yellow powder. Aqueous solution is colorless to slightly yellow and clear, with solution pH 5.5-7.5, making it suitable for essence, serum, gel, mask and lotion systems designed around low-dose biological active positioning.
Product Description: Soluble Proteoglycan (Pure Powder) supports water-phase anti-aging and skin-comfort concepts. The ingredient is best positioned for formulas that aim to improve the appearance of dryness lines, loss of firmness, dull texture and stressed-looking skin. It should be presented as a cosmetic active for hydration, elasticity support and tighter skin feel, not as a drug-style repair ingredient.

Usage: Suitable for anti-aging serum, firming/tightening essence, hydrating gel, sheet-mask essence, eye-care serum, sensitive-skin comfort formulas and lightweight emulsions with a water phase.
Mixing method:
- Pre-dissolve or hydrate in deionized water, glycerin-water or propanediol-water before adding to the main batch.
- Add during cool-down below 40°C. Avoid prolonged heating, strong acids, strong alkalis and strong oxidizing systems.
- Recommended finished-formula pH: 3.5-6.5. If the formula has high electrolyte, high alcohol or strong surfactant content, check clarity and viscosity after 24-48 hours.
Usage rate: 0.01-0.10%. Typical starting point: 0.05%.

Solubility: Soluble in water and gives a colorless to slightly yellow clear solution. Not intended for direct dissolution in oil phase.
Storage: Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry area. Protect from humidity, heat and direct light. Reseal immediately after weighing.
