Compared with lower-load water-soluble menthol powders, this max-strength version gives substantially higher delivered menthol per unit dose. It is also suitable for dry or powder-based systems where the menthol effect can release more gradually during application on skin.

Product Description: This ingredient is intended for rinse-off and leave-on cosmetic systems that need a pronounced, clean menthol cooling profile with water-phase convenience. Because the powder is already engineered to disperse in water, it can be introduced into toners, clear gels, water-based serums, sprays, mouth-cooling personal care systems, and other aqueous formats more easily than raw menthol crystals. The 55% menthol loading also makes it practical when the formulator needs stronger cooling from a lower addition level, which helps reduce the amount of carrier solids added to the formula compared with low-load encapsulated menthol powders. In powder applications such as deodorant powders, foot powders, dry masks, or other anhydrous powder blends, the system can support a more progressive perception of cooling during use rather than an immediate sharp menthol hit. Cooling intensity should still be increased carefully because the active menthol content is high and sensory strength rises quickly with dosage.

Usage: Suitable for water-based cooling products, clear gels, toners, sprays, deodorant systems, body-cooling care, scalp-refreshing products, and powder-based formulas that need a sustained menthol sensation.

Mixing method:

- Add into the water phase with moderate stirring at room temperature up to below 60?C.

- For fastest uniformity, pre-disperse in a small portion of water before adding to the main batch.

- In powder systems, blend uniformly at the final dry-mix stage and protect the bulk from heat and humidity.

Usage rate: 0.05-2.00%

Use 0.05-2.00% of this 55% menthol powder (delivers about 0.0275-1.10% menthol). A practical mid-level starting point is about 0.50%, which delivers about 0.275% menthol.
