Properties It is very easy to dissolve in water and forms a light purple-red solution. After being left to stand, oxygen will be decomposed and hydrated iron trioxide will be precipitated. The alkalinity of the solution increases with decomposition, is quite stable in strong alkaline solutions, and is an excellent oxidant.

description Product Description

Used as a powerful oxidizing agent in organic synthesis for selective oxidation of alcohols and sulfides. Employed in water treatment due to its ability to disinfect and coagulate contaminants simultaneously, effectively removing bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals. Acts as a green alternative to chlorine in wastewater treatment, producing less harmful byproducts. Also investigated for use in high-energy-density battery systems and as a cathode material in advanced alkaline batteries. Its strong oxidizing capacity makes it suitable for chemical oxygen generation in confined environments.
