description Product Description

Rebamipide is primarily used in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It promotes mucosal healing by enhancing the production of endogenous prostaglandins, which helps strengthen the gastric mucosal barrier. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by scavenging free radicals and inhibiting the activation of inflammatory cells such as neutrophils. Due to its mucosal protective effects, rebamipide is used in managing gastritis and preventing NSAID-induced gastric damage. It is also utilized in the treatment of gastric mucosal injuries associated with *Helicobacter pylori* infection, often as an adjunct to eradication therapy. Additionally, it has shown benefit in improving symptoms of dry eye disease by protecting corneal and conjunctival epithelial cells and increasing mucin secretion.
