By blocking this enzyme, it helps reduce pulmonary inflammation and capillary leakage, improving oxygenation and lung function. Commonly administered intravenously in critical care settings, particularly in patients with sepsis-induced ARDS. Its use is aimed at shortening the duration of mechanical ventilation and supporting recovery in intensive care units.
