4-Methyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolane (FEMA 2130) is a floral-fruity acetal with rosy/peony facets and a gentle sweetness. It smooths harsh floral tops, builds body and diffusion, and supports rose, peony, fruity-floral, and cosmetic-powder styles.
Excellent with phenylethyl alcohol, ionones/irones, linalool/linalyl acetate, hedione, rose/peony bases, musks, and soft woods.
