Product Description:
Used in targeted cancer therapy, particularly for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR and MET abnormalities. Binds to the extracellular domains of EGFR and MET receptors, blocking their activation and downstream signaling pathways that drive tumor growth. Triggers receptor internalization and degradation, and recruits immune effector cells through Fc-mediated mechanisms like antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Administered intravenously, it is indicated for patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations who have progressed on prior platinum-based chemotherapy. Helps overcome resistance to first-generation EGFR inhibitors by dual targeting, making it effective in resistant or refractory cases. Currently being studied in combination with other agents to expand its use in broader oncology settings.
