Product Description:
Used primarily as a coupling agent in the production of organosilicon compounds, especially in the synthesis of silane coupling agents for adhesives, sealants, and composite materials. It enhances adhesion between organic polymers and inorganic surfaces such as glass, metals, and minerals. Commonly employed in rubber manufacturing to improve filler dispersion and mechanical properties by coupling silica fillers to polymer matrices. Also serves as an intermediate in the preparation of functional siloxane polymers used in coatings, resins, and surface treatments where moisture resistance and durability are required.
