Used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as difficulty urinating, frequent or urgent need to urinate, and weak urine flow. It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Often prescribed for men with enlarged prostate to improve urinary function and reduce discomfort. May be used alone or in combination with other medications for prostate-related urinary issues.
