Used primarily as an ultra-accelerator in the vulcanization of rubber, enhancing the curing speed and improving the cross-linking efficiency. It is especially effective in sulfur-cured rubber systems, providing excellent heat resistance and aging properties. Commonly applied in the production of tires, hoses, belts, and other technical rubber goods where high performance and durability are required. Also functions as a polymerization modifier in some plastic systems and finds use in the synthesis of certain agricultural chemicals due to its sulfur-containing structure.
