Water‑soluble zinc salt for deodorant/odor control and pigmentation care (monohydrate).
Zinc Sulfate (Monohydrate) is a cosmetic-grade zinc salt used in odor-control (deodorant) products and targeted pigmentation care.
Published studies report strong deodorizing efficacy from zinc sulfate solutions (e.g., 15% topical solution reduced foot odor >70%) and improvement in melasma at 10% usage. In cosmetics, typical leave-on levels are much lower; always conform to local cosmetic regulations.
Compared with the heptahydrate form, the monohydrate form provides higher ZnSO4 content per gram, yet remains readily soluble in water and easy to formulate.
Usage: Deodorant/odor-control products (roll-on, spray, stick), clarifying toners/serums, targeted pigmentation care.
How to mix:
- Dissolve directly in the water phase until clear (heat tolerant).
- Work within pH ~3.5–7 to avoid precipitation; adjust pH after dissolution.
- For thickened systems, neutralize gelling agents first, then add the solution.
Usage rate: 0.1–15% (Thai FDA permits up to 1% for cosmetics; higher levels are drug territory.)
Product Description: White crystalline powder.
Solubility: Freely soluble in water; insoluble in oils.
Storage: Tightly closed, dry place; avoid moisture and heat. For long‑term storage keep refrigerated. Shelf life ≥ 24 months.
