Madecassic acid, a compound derived from Centella Asiatica, also known as Gotu Kola, has several potential benefits for the skin. Various studies have examined its potential benefits.
1. Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Scar Properties: One study demonstrated that madecassic acid has potent anti-inflammatory and anti-scar properties, showing its potential as a therapeutic agent for wound healing (Bylka et al., 2013).
