It is a wax derived from nature. It is commonly used in a variety of foods such as
- Microencapsulation to coat active ingredients to maintain quality longer.
- Acts as a gum base in chewing gum instead of microcrystalline wax.
- Mix in chocolate and peanut butter to make a spread to help prevent splitting of the oil.
