LipidSoft™ Vinyl (Dipentaerythrityl Pentaisononanoate)
High‑cushion, glossy emollient ester for makeup/skincare; boosts pigment wetting and limits lipstick exudation.
LipidSoft™ Vinyl (Dipentaerythrityl Pentaisononanoate) is a high‑cushion, glossy emollient ester designed to create polysensory makeup and skincare textures.
It forms flexible, fabric‑like films that move with skin for a remarkable cushion effect and superior comfort.
In color cosmetics it boosts gloss and payoff, improves pigment wetting/dispersion, and helps limit exudation in lipsticks and lip glosses.
Usage: Makeup and skincare bases that need cushion and slip; lipsticks/lip glosses; hair styling and sun care products. Enables soft‑focus, enveloping skin feel with high shine in color products.
Mixing method:
- Oil phase emollient; add to the oil phase or during cool‑down.
- Typical processing ≤40°C; can be heated as needed to aid blending.
- Excellent at wetting pigments and fillers; pre‑disperse pigments in a portion of this ester for smoother payoff.
