D&C Red 27 Color Changing Pigment color Changes color when pH changes
The formula is recommended to be made into anhydrous gel without water in the formula. when the formula touches the skin The color will occur on the skin
can dissolve in a variety of oils When it melts, a light orange color is formed. and when in contact with the skin will become pink
Use: For products that require color change when in contact with the skin
How to mix: Melt 0.05% citric acid into the oil phase first, then dissolve the pigment completely in the same oil phase before combining with other phases. This procedure helps keep the bulk formula pale and lets the color develop mainly after skin contact.
Utilization rate: 0.1-3% depending on desired color intensity (recommended formula pH 3.0–7.0).
Product characteristics: light pink powder
