Zinc Ricinoleate is a zinc salt of ricinoleic acid, a natural deodorizing active derived from castor oil that effectively neutralizes body odor.

Unlike traditional antimicrobial deodorants that kill bacteria, Zinc Ricinoleate works by chemically absorbing and trapping odor molecules, making them undetectable. This mechanism allows natural skin flora to remain balanced while providing powerful odor protection. Studies have shown it can absorb various malodorous compounds including short and medium chain fatty acids, mercaptans, and amines.

This pellet form offers excellent formulation flexibility with easy dispersion in both water and oil phases. It provides superior odor control compared to traditional antimicrobial agents while being gentle on skin and suitable for sensitive formulations.

Usage: Deodorants, antiperspirants, body lotions, foot care products, intimate hygiene products, bar soaps, liquid soaps, shampoos, and body washes

How to mix:

- For water phase: Disperse pellets in water at 40-60°C with stirring until dissolved

- For oil phase: Can be dispersed in oil phase at 60-70°C

- Add to formulation during cooling phase below 40°C for best stability
