This multifunctional polymer provides several benefits simultaneously:
- Film‑Former & Fixative: Forms a film on hair to deliver reliable hold and maintain style.
- Conditioning: The Ethylamine Oxide units bind to negatively charged hair, reducing static, improving combability, and leaving hair smooth and conditioned. Lauryl and Stearyl chains add softness and pliability.
- Water/Humidity Resistance: Hydrophobic Lauryl and Stearyl segments repel moisture, reducing frizz and prolonging style in humid conditions.
- Flexibility: Fatty chains interrupt polymer rigidity, yielding a flexible film that resists cracking or flaking and avoids a “crunchy” feel.
- Good Adhesion: Cationic Ethylamine Oxide enhances polymer binding to the hair shaft for long‑lasting performance.
Typical Applications:
