Tryptic-Soy™ is a soybean extract with special technology to obtain high concentration of Anti-Tryptic Activity and Anti-Protein Denaturation.
Tryptic Activity is one of the natural processes of the skin's enzyme Trypsin to digest skin proteins. However, the levels of skin proteins and Tryptic Activity become imbalanced as we age. Tryptic Activity still works at the same level to digest various types of skin proteins, but the ability to create skin proteins to replace the original proteins that have been digested decreases as we age.
Research has found that Soybean has Anti-Tryptic Activity or the ability to inhibit the Tryptic process (or the process of digesting skin proteins by the Enzyme Trypsin).
This ingredient list has Anti-Tryptic Activity and Anti-Protein Denaturation testing services in the finished product to confirm that it is truly effective and can be used for advertising.
Other benefits of Tryptic-Soy™
-
Elastin Synthesis :
- Soybean extracts significantly induced tropoelastin expression by 3.4- and 1.8-fold, as measured by QPCR (quantitative polymerase chain reaction)
- In vivo studies showed that soy-treated SKH-1 mice and Yucatan swine had increased elastic fiber staining near the dermal–epidermal junction
-
Elastase Inhibition :
- The extracts inhibited human leukocyte elastase (HLE) activity, preserving the integrity of elastic fibers. The activity of HLE in the presence of soybean extracts, STI (soybean trypsin inhibitor), and BBI (Bowman-Birk inhibitor) was reduced in a dose-dependent manner. The extract contained approximately 0.001% STI and BBI and 0.0001% isoflavones.
-
Expression of Other ECM Components :
- Soybean extracts increased the expression of fibulin-5 and collagen1-a1, essential for elastic fiber assembly and the dermal extracellular matrix, respectively
Usage: For all types of cosmetics in the form of gel, serum, lotion or cream.
Mixing method: Dissolve in water.
Usage rate: Cosmetics 0.1-5%
Product characteristics: White cloudy liquid
Dissolving: Dispersible in water (without precipitation)
Storage: For long-term storage, keep in the refrigerator, avoid sunlight and heat. Shelf life is at least 2 years.
INCI Name : Water, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract
