Ultra‑low MW oat beta‑glucan (<5 kDa), highly water‑soluble for deeper delivery; supports collagen and repair.
Beta Glucan HighSorb (Oat, Ultra-Low MW, Water-Soluble) is an ultra‑low molecular weight (<5 kDa) beta‑glucan derived from oats. It is fully water‑soluble and designed to deliver beta‑glucan beyond the stratum corneum for targeted anti‑aging and repair.
Low‑MW beta‑glucan can reach the viable epidermis and interact with cell receptors (e.g., dectin‑1), supporting collagen I/III synthesis, soothing pathways, and post‑procedure recovery. Conventional high‑MW beta‑glucan (~40–200 kDa) acts mainly by forming a protective moisturizing film.
Specifications (summary): ≥ 70% beta‑glucan, ≥90% through 80 mesh; moisture ≤ 5%; residue on ignition ≤ 8%; heavy metals within strict limits; microbiological limits as per COA.
Product Description: Ultra‑low MW oat beta‑glucan for deep delivery and anti‑aging. Designed for serums, gels and creams where penetration, collagen support and recovery are desired. Typical in‑use levels are low yet effective due to enhanced percutaneous delivery compared with high‑MW film‑forming grades.
Usage: Anti‑aging serums, essences, clear gels, creams/lotions, masks, eye care; post‑procedure soothing/repair.
Mixing method:
- Sprinkle into water phase at room temperature with gentle stirring.
- Add at cool‑down; avoid temperature above 40°C.
- Compatible with most water‑based actives; avoid strong oxidizers.
Usage rate: 0.2–2.0%
Product characteristics: Light yellow to off‑white powder; characteristic odor.
Solubility: Soluble in water; also soluble in glycols.
Storage: Tightly closed, cool and dry place (15–25°C). Protect from humidity.
