How to use Oil Thick™ Clear (both types S , N and P)

1. Heat the oil to a temperature of 80-90 degrees.

2. While spinning the oil, gradually add Oil Thick™ Clear into the oil and check to see if can dissolve

3. If found to be unable to dissolve to increase the heat to 100-120 degrees until found Oil Thick™ Clear is soluble. (If able to dissolve can proceed in item 4.)

4. Sprinkle Oil Thick™ Clear keep going until the end and blend until completely dissolved in the recipe. will get a gel texture

Differences between different types of Oil Gelling Agent / Oil Gellant

- Sugar Gel give the oil gel texture Soft and clear texture with 10% water content in the formula. Suitable for gel formulations. that can contain a small amount of water in the formula Cannot be used with Silicone

- Oil Thick™ Soft give the oil gel texture Soft texture and translucent (not 100% clear) suitable for cream formulations. Can be used with Silicone

- Oil Thick™ Hard give the oil gel texture Semi-solid and translucent (not 100% clear) Suitable for balm, pressed powder formulations with a semi-solid texture, can be used with silicone.

- Oil Stick™ Medium give the oil gel texture Hard (1-2%) to very hard (4%) can give clear texture Suitable for stick formulas such as lip stick , deodorant stick (should be used with Oil Stick™ Hard for a clear texture) Can be used with silicone (but will not give a clear texture)

Use: As a thickener (gelling) for oils in any formulation.

Mixing method: Mix in oil by heating at 85-120 degrees depending on the type of oil. (Please see more mixing steps above.)

Usage rate:   3-15% depending on the degree of viscosity of the desired oil
