Isopsoralen is a furocoumarin compound found in the plant Psoralea corylifolia. Research has shown it to have skin benefits:
Photodynamic therapy for skin conditions: Isopsoralen has been found to have photodynamic properties when applied topically, which may be beneficial in treating skin conditions such as psoriasis and actinic keratitis.
Anti-inflammatory: Isopsoralen has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties when applied topically, which may be useful in treating skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
Usage: Can be used in all types of skin care products.
Mixing method: Mix in the formula in the last step after getting the cream or gel texture by stirring to disperse in the formula and avoid heat. The formula must contain ethanol, propylene glycol.
