Sugarcane Extract Sugarcane Extract A special type containing at least 98% of the active substance Polisocanol and at least 80% of Octacosanol, measured by GC (Gas Chromatography, C-28).
Policosanol has the following effects on the skin (Reference: Patent US 2007/0196507 A1):
1. Helps reduce Sebum secretion or the functioning of the sebaceous glands.
2. Help control/kill bacteria P. Acnes (Propionibacterium acnes)
Instructions for blending:
Oil based formulations: please dissolve Sugarcane Extract in the oil part with a heat of 85 degrees and combine the water / oil part. according to normal procedure
Oil-free formula: Please use any type of Glycol at twice the rate of Sugarcane Extract (e.g. Sugarcane Extract 3%, Ethoxydiglycol 6%) with a heat of 85 degrees and mixed with the water. heated to equal heat The recipe must have a Cream Maker that uses heat such as Butter Cream Maker , Soft Cream Maker , Milk Lotion Maker to harmonize Sugarcane Extract and Glycol in the formula well. And does not cause agglomeration or sediment.
Use: For products that help reduce oiliness, reduce acne.
How to mix: Mix in the oil Can withstand heat at 85 degrees, not more than 15 minutes. Please see more details of the mixing process above.
Utilization rate: 1-5% (3% recommended)
