Microneedle Sponge or Spongilla Lacustris (Sponge) Extract is an extract from the seaweed Spongilla Lacustris that has the appearance of a micro-needle or small needles. They have lengths in the range of 50-300 microns and diameters in the range of 0.5-10 microns. The main component of the Microneedle Sponge is naturally occurring silica. Therefore it is extremely safe for the skin.

Instructions for mixing

1. Do not use the Homogenizer for blending after adding the Microneedle Sponge . already entered into the formula

2. Microneedle Sponge should be added to the formula in the last step. and stir to distribute evenly in the formula Avoid using heat.

3. In case the formula contains glycerin or any type of glycol such as Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, mix the Microneedle Sponge with glycerin or glycol first to make it easier to spread. Then add it to the product. and stir to distribute evenly

Usage: Use in any skin care formula to reduce wrinkles.

Product characteristics: White powder with the appearance of small needles. When touching and rubbing on the skin, the skin will feel wrinkled.

Solubility : Disperses in any cream or gel formula. (cannot be dissolved)

Usage rate: 0.5-4.0% (general anti-aging products use 0.5-2.0%, skin exfoliation products use 2-4%).

Storage: For long-term storage Store at room temperature. Avoid heat, humidity and sunlight. Shelf life is at least 24 months.
