Oil Thick™ Soft creates an oily gel texture. Soft texture, easy to use, high density. Can be used in all types of oils (including emollient)

Examples of use of Oil Thick™ Soft

- Adjust the thickness - liquid to the Lip Gloss (formula characteristics: any type of oil + powder color + Oil Thick™ if formula doesn't have it. Oil Thick™ pigments will be able to precipitate. )

- Prevents precipitation of Physical Sunscreen (Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide) by Oil Thick™ will help disperse sunscreen powder into the formula's oils or silicones. Make the sunscreen powder not settling. The formula is stable. Do not shake the bottle before use.

- Oil-based makeup products such as Lip Gloss, Liquid Lip, Mascara

Differences between different types of Oil Gelling Agent / Oil Gellant

- Sugar Gel give the oil gel texture Soft and clear texture with 10% water content in the formula. Suitable for gel formulations. that can contain a small amount of water in the formula Cannot be used with Silicone

- Oil Thick™ Soft give the oil gel texture Soft texture and translucent (not 100% clear) suitable for cream formulations. Can be used with Silicone

- Oil Thick™ Hard give the oil gel texture Semi-solid and translucent (not 100% clear) Suitable for balm, pressed powder formulations with a semi-solid texture, can be used with silicone.

- Oil Thick™ Transparent Gives a clear oily gel texture. high viscosity

- Silicone Thick™ Provides viscosity in silicone cyclopentasiloxane

- Oil Stick™ Medium give the oil gel texture Hard (1-2%) to very hard (4%) can give clear texture Suitable for stick formulas such as lip stick , deodorant stick (should be used with Oil Stick™ Hard for a clear texture) Can be used with Silicone (but will not give a clear texture)

Use: As a thickener (gelling) for any formulation of oil.

Mixing method: mixed in oil or hydrocarbons ( isododecane , isohexadecane ) or LipidSoft™ any type using a heat level of 75-105 degrees depending on the type of oil ( Mineral Oil 90 degrees, LipidSoft™ Lite 75 degrees, LipidSoft™ Palm 80 degrees, Squalane 95 degrees, Jojoba oil 95 degrees)

Usage rate: 2-10% (higher consumption may thicken the formula, use a rate of 2-5% to get a thick liquid, use a rate of 6-10% to get a gel)
