Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (70%, e.q. N70, Ultramild) is a cosmetic‑grade anionic surfactant (SLES 70%) for shampoos, body wash and facial cleansers. This Ultramild N70 grade is refined for very low 1,4‑dioxane (≤5 ppm), meeting strict market requirements in the EU, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

Compared with common industrial SLES, this material is further purified to minimize residual 1,4‑dioxane from ethoxylation. The low‑dioxane profile simplifies regulatory testing and export of finished goods to tightly controlled markets.

Typical specifications (5% AM solution unless stated): pH 7.0–9.0; Active matter 68–72 wt%; Unsulfated organics ≤2.0 wt%; Inorganic sulfate ≤1.0 wt%; Appearance clear, pourable gelled liquid; 1,4‑Dioxane ≤5 ppm.

Product Description: Primary foaming/cleansing surfactant providing rich foam and good detergency. Works synergistically with amphoteric co‑surfactants (e.g., Cocamidopropyl Betaine) to improve mildness and viscosity build. Salt‑responsive; thicken after full perfume/color addition. Delivered‑active: as supplied at 70% AM (spec 68–72%), so 10% in formula delivers ≈6.8–7.2% SLES active.

Usage: Shampoos, shower gels/body wash, facial cleansers, hand soaps, scrub/cleansing gels.

Mixing method:

- Charge deionized water, then add this product with gentle stirring; process at room temperature or ≤40°C.

- Add amphoteric co‑surfactant for mildness/viscosity (e.g., 3–10% CAPB as supplied).

- Adjust viscosity with NaCl at the end; check after perfume/color are in.

- Final pH target 5.5–7.0 depending on formula. Avoid strong acids/bases and cationic polymers at high levels.

Usage rate: 5–30%

Product characteristics: Clear, pourable gelled liquid; faint odor; anionic surfactant.

Solubility: Fully miscible in water; compatible with anionic and amphoteric systems; limited compatibility with cationics.

Low 1,4‑dioxane grade (≤5 ppm).
