Ceracare™ Biomimetic 10 is a liquid crystal emulsion of three ceramides (NP, AP, EOP + Phytosphingosine, Total 10%) engineered to mimic the skin’s lamellar barrier lipids.
By matching the intercellular lipid organization, it supports barrier repair and moisture retention while enabling strong formulation robustness and a comfortable skin feel.
It disperses with heat into water or oil phases and suits sensitive, dry, and aging skin in creams, lotions, gels, balms, and serums.
Product Description:
- Skin‑mimetic lamellar structure with ceramides NP/AP/EOP and supportive lipids (phytosphingosine, long‑chain alcohols, phytosterols, glyceryl stearate, hydrogenated lecithin).
- High skin safety: skin‑similar composition derived from nature‑identical lipids.
- High stability: stabilized oil droplets deliver robust stability under skin‑relevant conditions; strong acid/alkali and electrolyte tolerance; good low‑temperature freeze–thaw and high‑temperature resistance; reliable suspension stability.
- Significant efficacy: provides high moisturization with sustained release and excellent skin feel.
Usage: Main active for moisturizers targeting sensitive, dry, and aging skin; suitable for creams, lotions, gels, balms, and serums.
Mixing method:
- Water dispersion: pre‑disperse into propylene glycol or butylene glycol with heat at 70–80°C, then add to the water phase.
- Oil dispersion: pre‑disperse into the oil phase at 70–80°C, then proceed with emulsification.
- Homogenize until uniform; cool under gentle shear.
Usage rate: 0.5–2% (1% recommended)
Product characteristics: white to off‑white powder
Solubility: dispersible in water or oil (cream/gel textures)
Storage: 24 months; store refrigerated at 6–10°C
