4D Hyaluronic Acid is a ready-to-use water-based gel combining multiple hyaluronic acid functions in one ingredient.
The system combines sodium hyaluronate grades with cationic hyaluronic acid to support multi-level hydration, surface water binding and improved skin deposition.
It is supplied as a clear viscous gel for direct addition into water-based cosmetic formulas.
Product Description: 4D Hyaluronic Acid is designed for broad hydration performance: lower molecular weight fractions support a lighter hydration feel, higher molecular weight fractions help bind water at the surface, and the cationic fraction improves substantivity on skin.
The three-dimensional hydration network concept supports both immediate hydration feel and longer-lasting moisturised skin feel. Existing test notes describe improvement beginning from about 1 hour, with reduced TEWL feel, smoother skin and better elasticity.
Do not use directly on skin undiluted. This is a high-concentration ingredient for dilution into a finished cosmetic formula.
Usage: Suitable for hydrating serum, gel, lotion, cream, mask, sleeping mask, toner/essence and after-treatment hydration formulas.
Mixing method:
- Add directly into the water phase or cool-down phase and mix until uniform.
- Maintain final formula pH about 3-9.
- Avoid strong heat after addition to preserve viscosity and sensory profile.
Usage rate: 1-20%. Typical: 2-5% for normal/dehydrated skin formulas, 5-10% for dry skin formulas and 10-20% for intensive hydration products.
Product characteristics: Clear viscous gel.
Solubility: Water soluble; add directly into water-based systems.
Storage: Keep closed in a cool place away from heat and sunlight. Refrigeration is acceptable for long-term storage.
