HyaOil™ is oil-dispersed hyaluronic acid for anhydrous and oil-based cosmetic systems.

The product contains approximately 30% sodium hyaluronate microspheres dispersed in castor oil and hydrogenated castor oil, allowing hyaluronic acid to be used in lipsticks, lip balms and oil-based makeup.

It is supplied as an ivory-white to light-yellow semi-solid ointment.

Product Description: Use HyaOil™ when a formula needs hyaluronic acid positioning in an oil phase where ordinary sodium hyaluronate powder cannot dissolve. The microsphere dispersion allows incorporation into heated oil systems and supports lip moisturising, lip-plumping appearance and lip-repair positioning.

COA specification includes sodium hyaluronate 27-33%, molecular weight 3,000-10,000 Da and melting point 65-80°C.

Usage: Suitable for lipstick, lip balm, lip mask, oil-based makeup, balm, anhydrous stick and other oil-rich cosmetic products.

Mixing method:

- Add into the oil phase.

- Heat to 65-80°C until melted, then mix until evenly dispersed with the oil phase.

- Maintain enough mixing during cooling to keep the dispersion uniform.

Usage rate: 0.5-2%.

Product characteristics: Semi-solid viscous ointment, ivory-white to light yellow.

Solubility: Oil dispersible with heat at 65-80°C; not water soluble as supplied.

Storage: Keep closed in a cool place away from sunlight. For long-term storage, 5-15°C is recommended.

INCI Name: Sodium Hyaluronate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil
